Vehicle Description As the story goes, a chipper young man, freshly graduated from School purchases a new BSA A65 Lightning Rocket as a gift to himself.
After a short time in ownership, the man gets drafted and has to part with his beloved motorcycle.
The bike was kept by his parents in their business until the time came to part with the bike in the early 80's.
The motorcycle found a new home in the hands of a collector who took great care in having the bike on display and running it from time to time.
Covering only 2,604 miles since new, this is the pinnacle of Collector Grade BSA A65 Lightning Rockets.
This example spent the last 2 years on display in The Throttlestop Museum.
